Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast, who was regarded as one of the sport's greatest athletes. At the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at the same Games as well as the first gymnast to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles grew up within Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her younger sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone started to develop an interest in gymnastics as an infant in a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the following 11 years. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She then moved up to competitions at the elite level in the year 2011. In less than two years, she became the top athlete in her field. The thing that set Biles apart was the consistency of her flamboyant attitude and the extreme level of effort she put into her workout routines for the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
