Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - a Canadian as well as an American musician and singer. Her albums span over 20 years. Her music is classified as folk-rock and alternative rock although it includes influences from punk funk hip music and jazz. Ani Difranco is widely considered to be a symbol of music that is feminist. In the year 1990, she was among the first people to launch her own independent record label.
