Niykee is a song-writer and songwriter who, even with her recent busy schedule, has managed to maintain her routine. Her personal highlights have included her being picked by Snoop dogg to be his sidekick during the YouTube Brandcast event in May 2013. The singer-songwriter is fascinated by Niykee. She is always looking at new beats. A lot of them inspire song ideas. It's only after five minutes when I'm able to determine the beat's worth it. After that I can get an idea of a song's whole concept in my brain and I start writing. My guitar sits on the back porch and I'll let my thoughts flow. The process usually takes about thirty minutes. Niykee's pain from her past is a constant source of inspiration as she develops as a writer. The hurt I experienced growing as a child and the loss of my sister is evident in my songs, even when they are not exactly literal.
