Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop style after she drew the attention of people with "Starry Eyed," along with "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano scream and a knack to write songs that are emotional with inspiring lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge in the world of mainstream and artistic independent music. Polydor Records signed her to one of their record labels and she was preparing the debut album.
